Gulf Hagas Location: Maine       September 17, 2011 Four years ago I hiked the 100 mile wilderness of Maine. There is a 5 mile loop trail to Gulf Hagas off of the Appalachian Trail that I was not able to get to. Today is the day. I'll be joining Meb and doing some trail maintenance at the same time. We left the parking area at 8:00. We had our loppers and were ready to start brushing back the Rim Trail. The first mile or so we were on the A.T.
