December 9, 2010 Hike #2
I finished Mount Moriah with time to spare so I had time for some minor red-lining. I drove to Dolly Copp Campground. After the main entrance, the road was closed so I would have to walk through the campground to get to the trail. I had a nice view of Imp Face and North Carter from the campground.

I went by a display with a little history about Dolly Copp.

The trail came close to the icy Peabody River.

Madison and I reached the junction with the Great Gulf Trail and returned over the same route.
