Lynn and I had just enough daylight for one more stop. Spring Point Ledge Light was just down the street from where we were at Portland Breakwater Light.

We had to walk across a long breakwater to get to this one. It looked like a nice easy walk but it took quite a few minutes to get there. The breakwater was constructed of large stones but there were huge cracks in between so caution had to be used while walking.

This is also the location of the defunct Fort Preble which was decommissioned in 1950.
