October 9, 2010 Hike #4
With a little daylight to spare, I decided on one more small hike, a loop of the Discovery Trail. There was a kiosk at the beginning with a nice map.

The trail had a nice smooth grade the whole way and the hike is suitable for almost all fitness levels.

Several kiosks such as this provide information on the life cycle of a forest.

There are several benches along the way where you can rest if necessary.

I wasn't expected to find this nice view of the Osceolas.

Now there's a good sitting rock if I ever did see one.

It was getting dark so my picture came out blurry as I headed across this bridge.

The trail then made a small loop around some woods before heading back to the parking lot.
