After spending the afternoon at Prouts Neck, we still had an hour or so of daylight. We decided to go up to Two Lights State Park and check out the lighthouses. Just before we reached the park there was a sign pointing to the park and a sign pointing to the lighthouses. So just an FYI, the lighthouses are not in the park. We passed on checking out the park for today and chose to see the lighthouses. We drove out to Dyer Point. The lighthouses which are only a couple hundred yards apart were called "Two Lights". One of them is no longer in service and the other is now referred to as Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse.

I went by this huge noise maker used to warn ships.

Next, Lynn and I checked out the Lobster Shack.

The Lobster Shack has indoor and outdoor seating. Lynn got a fish sandwich and I got a hamburger since neither of us are too fond of lobster. We sat outside and enjoyed the ocean view.

We then checked out the gift shop where Lynn bought a book on Maine lighthouses.

It turned into a beautiful moon lit evening.

With the day turning into night, it caused the rest of my pictures to come out blurry. We went by some chairs that were made out of rock.

I think Fred Flintstone would enjoy this recliner.

I gave it a try. It was surprisingly comfortable.

We were out of daylight so we made the drive home. We plan to come back to this area for more exploring.
