May 29, 2010 Hike #2
After hiking Goose Eye, Jeremy and I (and Madison) had time for a second hike. Neither of us had hiked Mount Abram and we weren't sure if there was a hiking trail to the top. First we looked for a trail from the west and then the northwest. Both are marked with an X on the map. Had we known at the time we were so close to the ski slope, our second stop would have worked. But I would have felt a little guilty starting this small mountain so high up. We decided to go back to the lodge and go straight up the ski slope.

We reached the 1982' summit where Jeremy decided on a route down.

We found an awesome view looking west to the White Mountains.

As I explained in my last entry, I have been having trouble with my camera. The next two photos are courtesy of Jeremy.

It was a nice little mountain, but we had to pluck off a lot of ticks at the end of the hike.
