I finished the Appalachian Trail just three days ago, and we are already returning to our favorite spot, Mount Rogers and Grayson Highlands. Lynn wanted to see the ponies again. It was fun to drive through the A.T. trailtown of Damascus on the way here. We parked at Massie Gap and hiked in. We had no real plan, just walk where we wanted looking for the ponies. We had no trouble finding them. Here's a few pictures from our favorite spot on the A.T.

Now it's off to see our friends Jim and Sue. Sue bought me a great gift, a picture frame with about 8 individual frames filled with my A.T. adventures. It's awesome! Thanks Sue. Once I'm caught up on my journal, I'll actually get around to hanging it up.
