April 9, 2009 Hike #2
With time to spare this afternoon, Lynn and I decided to take advantage of the good weather and head up to Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia. There is a road most of the way up.

We climbed up to the observation platform. Below us was a visitors center, but it wasn't open.

I wonder if this is the quick way back down to the parking lot???

Lynn enjoyed the hike down much better than the hike up. This was state highpoint #13 for me.
