The sun was shining, so Lynn and I decided to go on a short Sunday afternoon hike. This small mountain has been on my to do list for sometime. Here's today's track.

There was a designated parking area.

We started with a road walk. The path was either an old logging road or a snowmobile trail. It was wide all the way. Here's Lynn at the summit.

As we started down, someone else was reaching the summit.

"Your cheating," I joked with the driver.
"You've got that right," he replied.
We took a detour on the way back. I thought there might have been another outlook but that ended up not being the case. I then decided to take Lynn on her first bushwhack. It was short, but it probably saved us a tenth of a mile or two. We finished at dusk. The hike took about two hours.
