October 23, 2008 Hike #2
This is my 2nd hike of the day. I left the trailhead at 3:00 pm.

About 15 minutes into the hike I saw two hikers with two dogs coming down.
"Any snow at the top?" I asked.
"We don't know. We didn't go all the way."
Sure enough I started running into snow at about 3200 feet although there was much less snow than what I ran into on the Hancocks this morning

Part way up the mountain the trail levels off.
I took a herd path that led to a view of Mount Moosilauke.

The trail then drops into a col before leading to the summit.
I used the self-timer function to get this picture of me on the summit of Tecumseh.

I returned over the same route getting back to my truck at 6:30 pm.
Any longer and I would have needed my headlamp.
