Here's my kayak track of Keoka Lake from my Delorme GPS.

Lynn and Madison came with me to the lake.
They will be relaxing on the shore as I paddle my way around.

Madison still doesn't know what to think when she sees me in a kayak.

And I'm off

I started in the northwestern part of the lake and paddled in a giant clockwise circle

On the eastern most part of the lake I paddled to shore.

There was a family of ducks, and I wanted to get a picture.

They swim off into the sunset.

Apparently there are some pirates on the lake.
But at least they have some American pride.

Very small dam on the southern most part of the lake.

Stone gazebo overlooking the lake

It had been overcast, but the sun came out towards the end.

I guess this is where those pirates make people walk the plank.

It's amazing how much lakes are a reflection of the sky. When it was overcast the water was gray, but now it's as blue as the sky.

Lynn and Madison had moved down near a public beach area on the western shore. I stopped briefly before paddling out into the middle of the lake. There were some rocks that I wanted to explore.

I couldn't resist getting out and walking on a few. If you have a boat with a propeller, you want to stay clear of this area.

There were a few good napping rocks. I don't have time for a nap today, but I'll keep that in mind.

Mount Tirem, a small mountain that Lynn, Madison, and I climbed last week.

Time to head back to shore.

Local Fishermen.

"I see you found a way to beat the rising gas prices," one of them said.
"Yes," I replied. "This kayak gets great gas mileage."

I completed my loop around the lake where I found Lynn and Madison once again waiting for me.
