.March 25, 2007 Hike #2
This is a just a short hike. Although this mountain is nearly surrounded by the White Mountains National Forest, it lies outside of its boundaries. The trailhead took me a few minutes to find. It is actually located in the back of Eagle Mountain House. How's this for one massive inn?
Next to this parking lot, I found a sign marked Gale Trail. I was looking for Eagle Mountain Path, but seeing no other trail in the area I took it. Just a couple minutes up the trail was a junction with Eagle Mountain Path.
