Appalachian Trail   Section: East Peak of Baldpate to Frye Notch Leanto   Start: Frye Brook Trailhead on East B Hill Road   Finish: same   New A.T. Miles: 2   Bonus Miles: 8   Total Miles: 10   Location: Maine           . June 2005 Sorry but I don't have pictures for this hike. I hiked this almost a year ago, so I will just do a quick recap. I hiked in on the blue-blazed Frye Brook Trail with Snoopy. The trail follows the brook, and there are a couple of spots with some nice cascades. After an hour and a half I reached the junction with the AT. I made the steep one mile climb up to East Baldpate and enjoyed the great view. I climbed back down to the trail junction and continued the other way on the AT until I reached the Frye Notch Leanto. I once again hiked back to the trail junction and headed back down the Frye Brook Trail.
